More heavy rains are expected for the southeast, southwest and northeast parts of the country through Thursday.About 30,000 residents in Kouqian town were trapped after torrential rains drenched the northeastern province of Jilin on Wednesday, the official Xinhua News Agency reported. Water began flooding the town after the nearby Xingshan Reservoir and the Wende and Songhua rivers overflowed.

“NOWSHERA, Pakistan – July 31, 2010 – Flooding in Pakistan has killed more than 800 people in a week, a government official said Saturday as rescuers struggled to reach marooned victims and some evacuees showed signs of fever, diarrhea and other waterborne diseases.The flooding caused by record-breaking rainfalls caused massive destruction in the past week, especially in the northwest province, where officials said it was the worst deluge since 1929. The U.N. estimated Saturday that some 1 million people nationwide were affected by the disaster, though it didn’t specify exactly what that meant. The information minister for the northwest province, Mian Iftikhar Hussain, said reports coming in from various districts across the northwest showed that more than 800 people had died due to the flooding. Many people remain missing.

Iowa counties hit by storms declared federal disaster area: Jul 30, 2010 by Asociated Press: Gov. Chet Culver says President Barack Obama has authorized a presidential disaster declaration for 32 Iowa counties affected by flooding and storms since June 1.The declaration provides federal funding to rebuild roads and bridges and other public facilities and help cover the cost of debris removal or emergency work during the storms. This list does not include the counties affected by last weekend’s floods. FEMA is still conducting damage assessments in those counties after Governor Culver declared them state disaster areas.

In a vision, a pair of high-heeled, mint-green colored sandals appeared in mid air. Later that same day, the word “ALIVE” was spoken.  This morning while thinking and praying about “going up in the Lord” the following Words were spoken “100 PERCENT”.

How meaningfully appropriate that the Word “PERCENT” was spoken when considering its pronunciation “per sent”.  That is to say, the Children of the Promise can only reach their maximum 100 PERCENT increase and elevation in Christ because it was Him whom GOD the FATHER ‘sent’.  It was Him whom GOD the FATHER sent to redeem us and to preach the gospel of HIS kingdom:

“And he [Jesus] said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent. And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.” (Lk. 4:43-44)

Altogether,  the vision and Spoken Words confirm that those who have earnestly labored and persevered, although earthbound, can still walk in high and lively places [high-heeled, mint-green sandals] per the Lord’s full blessings and increases. Praise and thanks be to GOD in the name of Jesus Christ! And yet Jesus warned that there will nonetheless continue to be persecutions, it is the way of the fallen temporal world, and often is the disciple’s lot. Indeed, GOD’s truth often contradicts human expectations for comfort and increases. But we should take heart and remain joyful knowing that we are still unfathomably blessed to walk this world in high step with Him, and with the expectation  of ‘eternal life’ in a new world when and where all evil will finally have been uprooted.

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but t the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal: but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Cor. 4:18)

“Then Peter began to say unto him [Jesus], Lo, we have left all, and have followed you. And Jesus answered, and said, Verily, I say unto you. There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father or mother, or wife, or children or lands for my sake, and the gospels. But he shall receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children and lands with persecutions: and in the world to come eternal life.
