Just before getting out of bed this morning, I clearly heard: “You did not do your homework.” While meditating on this statement, the Holy Spirit brought to my awareness what it was I didn’t do.
My husband and I attend a study group, and it was unanimously decided during our recent gathering that we would all pray for each other at a given time every evening. But last evening, I forgot to do so. That the Voice clearly addressed my forgetfulness testifies how important it is to pray for each other, and to follow through on spiritual commitments and works. I am pressed to share this spirit reception publicly to let others know that spiritual study groups bless in special ways!
“But the Comforter, the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance…..” (Jn. 14:26)
“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them” (Mt. 18:20)

“…for the life of all flesh is in the blood” (Lev. 17:14)
“He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood dwelleth in me and I in them. “ (Jn. 6:56)
While contemplating the richness and vibrancy of the roses, it soon dawned on me that these flowers symbolized GOD’s people who have gained victory in the earth garden.
The lively new-wine colored roses which were distinguished by a rich and unusual pink color symbolize people who have awakened from their slumber, and who commune in spirit with each other and the Holy Trinity. Pink is a color that is obtained by combining the color red with white. Otherwise said, the red of the rose symbolizes the redemptive, life-giving essence of the Lamb’s Blood. White symbolizes the purity of the Lamb’s Body [which He immaculately inherited from His Mother] and which is also allegorically represented in scriptures as the Spirit bread of life given to us as a gift following the Lord’s Crucifixion.
When I enquired about the identity of the few red roses interspersed amongst the new wine roses, the Voice replied: “The First Ones.” Immediately, I understood that they represented martyrs – mostly His Prophets – whose innocent blood was shed on earth before the Lord’s Crucifixion.
It also occurred to me that the aerial view of the roses was very appropriate. I could not see their thorns because these roses have victoriously overcome the testing elements of the earth plane. Instead of fading and withering, they have risen above their prickly trials, and have been crowned with GOD’s blooming splendour. In brief, these lively roses with their crowning glory extending up and out towards the rays of the Son, are being spiritually fed because they have hearkened to the Lord Jesus Christ’s call:
“The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem, and the heavens and the earth shall shake but the Lord will be the hope of his people….And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine….” (Joel. 3:16-18)

After prayerfully listening and meditating to the Chant of St. Francis during the night, I suddenly saw in a flash vision, an aerial view of the top of a beautiful bouquet of vibrant roses. There were many of them, and they were all bunched together closely, but not so close that any of the soft petals were crushed in any way. There was just enough breathing space in between each one of them. There were bright red ones interspersed among other ones which were deep pink in color: a color I have come to recognize and refer to as ‘New Wine Rose.’ It was a very exquisite, lively bouquet of red and New Wine Roses. And as is the case with all beautiful spirit-stirring and soul-touching visions, this one also ended much too soon.
(Chant of St. Francis)
Make me an Instrument, Lord, of thy Peace
As I let go, as I release
Make me an Instrument humble and free
As I awaken the Living Christ in me
As I awaken the Living Christ in me…
Make me an Instrument, Lord, of thy Peace
As I give Love, Love I receive
Make me an Instrument humble and free
As I awaken the Living Christ in me
As I awaken the Living Christ in me…
