For the past year, the Holy Spirit has been impressing upon me the importance of prayerful intercession for Canada and the U.S. during these times of great changes…..
Recently I saw in a vision a large 5 gallon water of purified spring water which was abundantly pouring out of the spout. After a short pause I heard the spoken words: “North America.” [Most specifically: Canada and the U.S.]
As many dreamers and seers will testify, dreams and visions can be interpreted literally but in this case the vision had symbolic application. From a natural perspective, we all know that water is – next to air – the most essential element needed for survival, and that without it, our physical bodies would dehydrate and die within a few days. But from a spiritual perspective, and within the context of this vision, this water represented the pure life-giving Spirit of Christ our Lord, and that without it, our spiritual bodies would shrivel up and die. And just as water revitalizes and gives life to all the cells in the physical body, so it is that by analogy, the Holy Spirit quickens and gives life to all members of the spirit body: the Bride.
“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst: but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing unto everlasting life.” (Jn. 4:14)
“And Jesus said unto them…….and he that believeth on me shall never thirst….And this is the Father’s will, which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. “ (Jn. 6:35-39)
From a biblical perspective the number five is related to grace, atonement, wellness, multiplication of blessings and fivefold ministries: i.e. prophets, apostles, evangelists, pastors and teachers to aid with the perfecting of the saints. (Cf. Matt. 25: 2, Eph. 4:11, Mark 6: 38-40, Luke 9:13-16.) And just as Christ makes this life-giving water available to His Bride – the Church Body – the Master clearly instructed that members are, in turn, called to share this life-giving water with others who thirst:
“For I was an hungered and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink, I was a stranger, and ye took me in. Naked, and ye clothed me, I was sick and ye visited me, I was in prison and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him saying, Lord when saw we thee an hungered and fed thee? Or thirsty and gave thee drink?….And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat, I was thirsty and ye gave me no drink; I was a stranger and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick and to prison, and ye visited me not.”
“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come, And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will let him take the water of life freely.” (Rev. 22:17)
GOD is pouring out abundant blessings upon our nations during these times of upheaval and changes. May HE bring more life to our lives and bless North America richly with HIS spirit fountain of wisdom and Love.
Let us not let our spirit bodies become dehydrated!

It does the body, mind and soul good to rest. J
After taking time away from the computer this past week and catching up on printed correspondence to read, I was saddened to find that a number of editorials and blogs continue to spread American-bashing propaganda. Most of these writings offered no resolutions to existing problems. They did, however, clearly reveal the authors’ lack of knowledge and spiritual understanding while dangerously engendering hatred. Most of these negatively-inspired [and obviously very frustrated American writers] are blind to the fact that their vitriolic words are negatively impacting their own country on a global scale!
While thinking about this sad state of affairs I recalled a vision which, by contrast, pointed to unity, support and neighborly love between two great western countries: Canada and the U.S. I recollected also that our faith is no longer superficial when we are able to see the good in the best and in the worst of people. This does not suggest that we should gloss over conflicting troubles and problems………but that conflicts and problems, even colossal ones, can be miraculously resolved when the Spirit of our dearly beloved Christ is the motivational and driving force that governs our expressions and actions.
Appended below is an article written by Gordon Sinclair and is documented in the 1973 Canadian Congressional Record. This “good neighborly” writer turned a negative situation into a constructive, resourceful and positive editorial that promotes unity and support instead of division and dissension between Canada and America.
AMERICA: THE GOOD NEIGHBOR
“This Canadian thinks it is time to speak up for the Americans as most generous and possibly the least appreciated people on all the earth.Germany, Japan and, to a lesser extent, Britain and Italy were lifted out of the debris of war by the Americans who poured in billions of dollars and forgave other billions in debts. None of these countries is today paying even the interest on its remaining debts to the United States. When the franc was in danger of collapsing in 1956, it was the Americans who propped it up, and their reward was to be insulted and swindled on the streets of Paris. I was there. I saw it. When distant cities are hit by earthquakes, it is the United States that hurries in to help.
This spring, 59 American communities were flattened by tornadoes. Nobody helped. The Marshall Plan and the Truman Policy pumped billions of dollars into discouraged countries. Now newspapers in those countries are writing about the decadent, warmongering Americans. I’d like to see just one of those countries that is gloating over the erosion of the United States Dollar build its own airplane. Does any other country in the world have a plane to equal the Boeing Jumbo Jet, the Lockheed Tristar, or the Douglas 10? If so, why don’t they fly them? Why do all the International lines except Russia fly American planes? Why does no other land on earth even consider putting a man or woman on the moon? You talk about Japanese technocracy, and you get radios. You talk about German technocracy, and you get automobiles. You talk about American technocracy, and you find men on the moon – - not once, but several times – and safely home again. You talk about scandals, and the Americans put theirs right in the store window for everybody to look at. Even their draft-dodgers are not pursued and hounded. They are here on our streets, and most of them, unless they are breaking Canadian laws, are getting American dollars from ma and pa at home to spend here. When the railways of France, Germany and India were breaking down through age, it was the American who rebuilt them. When the Pennsylvania Railroad and the New York Central went broke, nobody loaned them an old caboose. Both are still broke.
I can name you 5,000 times when the Americans raced to the help of other people in trouble. You name me even one time when someone else raced to the Americans in trouble? I don’t think there was outside help even during the San Francisco earthquake. Our neighbors have faced it alone, and I’m one Canadian who is d- – - – tired of hearing them get kicked around. They will come out of this thing with their flag high. And when they do, they are entitled to thumb their nose at the lands that are gloating over their present troubles. I hope Canada is not one of those.”
GOD bless America and Canada……..and all nations.
With Love in Christ, SilverRose
